Marsh Harbour You will arrive at the airport in Marsh Harbour, Airport Code (MHH), and then have a 20 minute taxi ride to the Marsh Harbour ferry dock. From there you will have a 20 minute ferry ride to the Hope Town main public dock. (Letter A on Map) In Marsh Harbour there are two large supermarkets, Solomon's Supercenter and Price Right, several liquor stores and bakeries which you will find very useful on your arrival. Your cab driver will cheerfully wait while you shop.
On the ferry boat, please tell the ferry boat Captain to radio Abaco Charters (Letter N on Map) and let us know you are on your way. We will pick you up at the Hope Town public dock and take you directly to your charter boat.

Hope Town
In Hope Town, there are four grocery stores, all well stocked. In Vernons Grocery store, you will find the most delicious pies and home baked bread. There is also two liquor stores. Hours are generally 9 to 6, closed on Sundays and holidays. However, you will find about 2 minutes from Ekali Estate, LVA's well stocked convenience store which is open on Sundays 10 am to 2 pm, great for new arrivals on Saturday who did not have time to shop. There is also Sweeting's Grocery Store at White Sound open during the week , but not on Sundays. Most stores are closed for lunch between 1 and 2 PM. Lighthouse marina, E-mail: lighthouse@oii.net and phone 242-366-0154, will deliver liquor and beer directly to your boat.
The US dollar is exchanged with the Bahamian dollar at parity. Some places accept credit cards and others do not, but travelers checks are readily accepted.
